this summer will be a lot better than last. I just hope Ben Mansford can be ruthless. IF it's danny with him then he needs to be too.
And how exactly is it a positive ? Ithought we were all pretty pleased with the way last summer went - turns out were were wrong like but not many of us thought we had got it badly wrong last summer
Nar a lot of players shouldn't have been kept. Scotland Kennedy Mcnulty Steele Hassell and there'll be more that ive forgot. Simply not good enough really.
How do you know? Last summer started off fairly well in early May, but after a couple of weeks it turned cold and there was even some snow at times in mid May. Then in July there was a heatwave with day after day of hot dry sun. I hope it's the same again, so we can go out, enjoy the fresh air, get some exercise and forget about football.
Hassell's not good enough based on 2 starts. In one he was our best player & in the other he was one of our better players. People might take you seriously if you didn't have an agenda. If you'd of said Hassell should of been released as he is injury prone then plenty might of agreed with you
Ive given up replying to Hemsworth when he makes posts like the above - it only encourages him. Happy to reply to posts which have new ideas or content but not going over the same boring ground again and again and again ....
it's my opinion. I have an opinion and to be honest I couldn't care less what some of you think. you are all that much behind every player I guess the away end on Saturday will be packed out?
Seriously Phil what do you watch at games to come to the conclusion that Steele isn't good enough? He was outstanding again last night. He may not be the finished article in all aspects of his game but if he was he would not be with us. As a shot-stopper he is as good as anyone in this league, I think he is very good in one on one's and his kicking isn't as bad as some make out. I notice the Danish national keeper kicked a ball into touch last night - so it isn't only Steele. In my opinion he is good enough for this league and his is as good as we can hope to have as things stand.
This thread started off so well, looking for positives (even if it didn't actually include any). Then I saw the Hassell/Steele post. GRRRRRRRRRR. I'm not reading any more.
I'm talking about this season though. How he played several years ago has no bearing on whether he should be playing now. Unless you're counting reserve games which shouldn't really count as they're games designed to get players up to speed
Exactly. The third sentence in the opening post was such an obvious prelude to another assault on Luke and Bobby it may has well have had a flashing neon sign attached to it.
