I was pretty much sat on the fence about DW being given the job. However..

There's little signs of spirit, guille, fight in this squad at the moment. Yes he inherited a squad with limited ability, but has he taken out the spirit and battle in his rebuilding of the squad.

We now have the worst goal difference in the division-31-good grief.

It's almost like when Keith Hill was here, the team seem defeated before they've got out on the pitch. The lack of ideas, passion spirit is all too prevalent in the away games.

I have said in previous threads over the last few weeks that I believe we are going to be relegated simply because we can't get back-to- back wins, let alone the run of 4 straight wins which would make me change my mind.

I was hoping beyond hope that I would be wrong, but it I won't be, shame.

What spirit and battle?? How fans on here talk..it's like we had a mid table squad that just need a few adjustments when in reality we have a poor squad with players who don't care!

Where was this spirit and battle you talk of? This season anyway.

Perfectly personified by the comments from S Wiseman is the general attitude of the squad.

Exactly thus. Too many players who are ****, don't care or both.

The spirit and battle that kept us up last season and gave us hope for a mid-table this season. Yes Flicker messed up. but there was still evidence of spirit in the side.

It was evident this season, the problem was Flicker changed his approach this season and ultimately paid the price. Our goal difference is now -31, we conceded goals for fun away from home. Dereck Parker said after 16 minutes he wished he'd never come.

I wish people would forget last season. It has no bearing on this. The fact is pretty much the same squad didn't care while flicker was in charge this season and still don't care now..hence relegation

I'm a big fan of DW and am very confident that when, and it probably is when, we go down he will build a decent team for that level and we will do ok.

Even if I wasn't a fan of DW though, looking at it objectively, just who do you think is going to come in and do a better job? To my mind there is no realistic better alternative so we may as well stick behind Danny!

When?! I've not seen it. The spirit in evidence was shown by Messers Wiseman and McNulty

Oh Forgot McNulty was a regular this season-not. I don't and never did rate Wiseman, so I didn't include him either. I still repeat that there was a spirit even though Flicker messed up. DW has to take his share of the flack.

Most of them- just the ability and managerial leadership missing.

Only problem is Wilson will be gone and Mickey Mellon-head will have the reigns back as he's the cheap option, hence why he was kept on

I cannot agree in the slightest mate, the players have looked like they dont really care( I know that some of them do and it is hurting those) and all the bravado and spirit that carried them through last season was lost when the manager decided he wanted carte blanche on ALL matters ! Turned a bunch of hungry tigers into soft cuddly pussies that just roll over for their belly tickling !
Just my opinion mate, not a slur on yourself.

In your opinion of course. Wilson was brought in to fire fight- He has not isolated the fire, Indeed, The fire has gathered pace and spread. We are going to get burned.

Of course it's my opinion. But I think it's reasonable to expect us to go down given our start and the awful recruitment and mess Flicker created. I also think it's unreasonable to expect Wilson to put all this right aligned to off the field not being right either.
