Struggling for words to describe that. Got into the ground 12 minutes late when we were already losing as we couldn't find anywhere to park. From what I saw, it was the most disgusting lack of effort I've ever seen as a Barnsley fan, and I'm not exaggerated. Every player (Steele excepted) should be utterly ashamed of what happened today, Watford absolutely strolled to the easiest win they'll get all season. The 2 goals I did see were the kind of goals you're likely to see in kids football, everybody watching the ball and no one marking the men. It's a complete waste of time going away any more to watch **** like that. I'd be embarrassed to pick up a wage from that.
To be honest I take my hat off to anyone who paid 26 quid plus travelling costs to go and see that today - there is such a slim chance of the expense being worthwhile these days I have really struggled to justify going this season. My away days are well down in number on previous years.
It's really not worth it on days like this mate, Brighton was the last one I didn't go to but I might not bother going again this season. Been to about 20 games since my last away win (Middlesbrough) and it's getting a bit disheartening now.
They don't deserve to wear the shirt. Effort costs nothing and is something that should be given as a basic requirement.
You have more staying power than me mate. Its so bad I almost talked myself out of wednesday this year and of course, like every other year, I ended up wishing I hadnt bothered.
