Flicker got 4 months this season before he was wanted out and now Danny is getting the same treatment. Maybe the next manager wont get that long.

Dont forget to come on here when you get your choice as manager to ask that he needs 3 years.

I dunno who applied but i'm sure plenty with recent championship experience did instead of an appointment that had heart ruling head when it was made. **** all money? He's brought in two players from the premiership who will be on a pretty penny. He's brought in a back up keeper he's no faith in, an unfit Lawrence and an average Woods.

Of course we did. People on here just don't live in the real world. We have bought cheaply and badly for 2 years and it's finally caught up. Injuries have decimated the squad. Basically you can't shine ***** can you. I'm looking forward to next season. Need to get rid of Mellon the last very remnants of the Hillcroft fiasco and move forward the league below under Danny. I'm looking forward to it to be honest in bored of relegation struggle after relegation struggle.

disagree it was flickers management attitude of last year that kept us up the team was picked out of neccessity and availability and although the fabric of the team wasn't championship quality the man management was what we needed . what happened close season and beginning of season i don't know but the management attitude certainly changed probably through arrogance and lack of experience the squad weren't improved and the inevitable happened.
not saying dannys appointment was wrong only time will tell but he's certainly not the messiah some are predicting as his signings and tactics have so far proved but he may be a good long term appointment who knows.
but last year was no fluke it was a rare coming together of management players and fans

Totally agree, who was the fantastic alternative willing to join a club at the bottom of the league with pub league players to work with? Please don't give us the usual list of failed managers

Whether he's the right man will be borne out in time but we have to stick with him, another change of manager would be a joke. Whether we are relegated or not let him have 2 more seasons at least. He is of a similar standard of manager as we would ever attract so why change? It's the playing staff that needs to change, we simply aren't good enough for anything above relegation scrap. DW should be allowed to bring in his own assistant in the summer too.

Then I can mention another two failed premiership players he's brought in with Ping Pong and Brek Sweat. He's brought in alot of players in a short space of time, but we look no better. Our away record is shocking. God help those who will be paying nearly 50 quid to Yeovil on ticket/travel alone.

But we ARE better. Just not enough quickly enough.

And Shea won't have cost us that much and Arsenal will still be paying Frimpong

I'm sure the cost of our four premiership players under Wilson that have underperformed will have cost alot less than the lower league rubbish were on wage wise that kept us up like Wiseman, Dagnall, McNulty etc.
