Addictive game '2048' - anyone played?

I've managed 1024, but can't do any better

"Football" an attractive game, anyone played it

there would be absolutely no response

 

At first, I wondered what the f*ck it was, but it's addictive. Can't get near the '2048' though.

 

rubbish game, ive just got 1464 just randomly pressing the arrow keys

 

Tough isn't it? There'll be a knack to it though I'm sure

Just got 2588 does that mean I've bust? Got right into it and realised I'd gone over the number

 

Sorry no, you need to get the tile to read 2048 - my highest score is around 10,000 I think, but I only got the 1024 tile

Had another go... Done it

 

Once you finally realise what the **** it is, it's bloody addictive, not managed any better than getting a 512 at the minute though, won't stop me from trying.

 

2588 isn't possible only numbers possible are; 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 etc. i.e a power of 2.

 

I guess he means an overall score of 2588?

Oh right, didn't spot there was a score too, thought it was just to get the 2048 tile. Apologies Lepton.

 

I hate you. I even have it on my phone now. So frustrating.

I've been playing it all day and I wouldn't say it was addictive

 

Got 1024 once, 512 regularly. Thought I'd found the key to magnificence and eternal glory, but I was mistaken.

The fight continues.

 

I can get 512 just about every time + a 256, but I'm struggling to get any further.
