This league one and finding our level tripe

We have always punched above our weight - i thought thats what we were good at. We take on the big boys and enjoy giving them a bloody nose - david v goliath.

The thing that is wrong at the minute is we are have a management & team playing with fear - fear of failure and getting relegated.

What happened to going out there and taking the game to the opposition? Go out and have a go!

Did we have much chance v liverpool, chelsea... or when we got promoted to the premier league?

did we get beat or even hammered now and again
yes

did we care?
no

why?
because we knew ed go back out the next game and give it everything without fear again.

Now its just controlled by the money men. Managers and teams have a massive expectation to succeed. If they sail anywhere near to failure they are sacked. And off on the merry go round we go again.

The sooner we either get this season over and give danny a proper contract and time to build without fear the better.

Ideally id like him to say balls to it this season and just go out there and try and smash teams to bits. But they wont.

Shame as its become a chore to go when we are turning up trying to snatch a 1-0 win.

I'd like to say i will still go next season and support through thick and thin - but i've so many other things id like to do or spend my cash on that im running out of reasons when its just getting wasted by boring game after boring uninspiring lackluster game.

 

Times have changed league ones the new championship

 

Im actually looking forward to going back to some old grounds I haven't been to in a while - beats the replica concrete flat pack crap we have to put up with in this league while being handed a drubbing on the pitch. Just hope tranmere don't go down to league 2, always a good ground to visit.

 

Except when you are sat in the middle of the home end and they stuff you 6-1....
