Must be really tiring to take the opposite view to attempt to be controversial on any given subject oh and chuffing boring as well.

Oakwell a great ground full of history and character needs some superficial work and some TLC at the cost of a few hundred thousand. I know what we will do instead with money we haven't got is build a new stadium at the cost of millions. Great plan... Chuff me round your house if the front room needs a coat of paint do you move?

the old WELL was *****.........the atmosphere, facilities, everything was dismal...........that's why they built the new WELL

As for moving...........there isn't any land available that is better placed than where Oakwell is now i.e. that is half a mile from the town centre pubs and the main transport facilities

So if the club moved out of the town centre then I wouldn't be going to anymore matches............because for me going to a match is more than just sitting in the stands watching football........I like the town centre boozers before and after the game

Nowt wrong with the West stand either, adds character to the ground.

If we move outside of Barnsley, part of the ruling is that we have to change our name within 3 years anyway don't we? That's what they told Rotherham when they were playing at the Don Valley.
