if dannys contract is until the end of the season (?) then we need to be getting the next manager signed on a pre-contract NOW so he can look at the playing/backroom staff and say who he wants to keep and offer contracts to, and who he wants to let go, that gives some ideas on finances and who he can try to get in on a pre before the mad mental meat market starts in june/july
Would much prefer he was given a longer contract so he can do the work himself. But then again, I'm far from convinced any manager at our club are allowed to fart without it being approved. We need new owners! and if Danny is relieved of his duties it's high time many other fans started thinking the same. The club is being brought to its knees. Correction, the club is already on its knees
whether its danny, pep guardiola, david moyes, it still applies, hes got to say who he wants/doesn't want, its only fair on the players, what happens if player wants to stay but gets an offer to move, and then finds out the new gaffer wanted to keep him
This whole BFC managerial merry-go-round can be traced back to the removal of head tennis from our training methods.
You make out on here and on other forums that you want us to go down, but yet you want Wilson sacked? Make yer mind up.
I cant say that I'm in favour of a change at this point but I wonder how much opposition there would have been if it had been someone other than Danny with the same signings, team selections and results. I think its only because of his history with the club that people are keeping faith. Is that a good enough reason?
I was pointing out to these who are saying they'd stop going if they sacked him, what the board might be thinking if they are indeed thinking about a change
It may or may not be true that Wilson being here before, and his previous record, buys him goodwill with some, which is why they are keeping faith. I think it is much more to do with the fact that most people realise that the prospect of sacking any manager, whoever it is, after only 3 months is ludicrous and unsustainable. I expect this rumour to be a wind up. I think some people are now starting to get a bit silly with false rumour peddling for the fun of it. If it isn't a rumour, I am gonna be disgusted. Proper fecking disgusted.
Just confirmed on the clubs twitter that Micky Mellon & goalkeeping coach Ian Wilcock have left the club with immediate effect. No news on any replacements though.
