Time to shake it up Danny... 5-3-2

    Steele..

    McLaughlin, Mvoto, Nyatanga, Kennedy, RNL

    Hunt, Cwyka,
    Jennings, (free role)

    Rose & COG

    -----

IMO Hunt has good engine and can do a job in the middle of the park. Likewise I feel Cwyka has been at his best in central mid role.
RNL has always impressed me, skillfull lad and deserves a run of games infront of other options.
Likewise Rose is young and full of endeavor. The lad always put in a shift last year and mixed it up. Scored some big goals in the end of season run and was not phased by big name players.

Lots of good reports from academy this kid Nana sounds like could scare a few defences, freescoring and in form. Mchale is good prospect, Mcknight too anyone who watches the academy do you think these lads could make step up.
I accept Etuhu had a shocker at the begining of this season, but I remember his performances this time last year. He was influential and instrumental in keeping us up last term. Is it time to give the lad another shot?
striker Same said for likes for Andrai Jones, John Cofie impressed when I have seen them but haven't even had a run out this year?

I feel we have some options, and some good youngsters but we need to use them. Paddy and Mellis are luxury players, Frimpong a talented lad but needs to nuckle down and channel his aggro, likewise Dawson can put in a shift but is to inconsistent and often loses his head, Lawrence just needs to nuckle down and get fit! Woods needs games...

Think RNL is injured. But it's the sort of team I'd like to see minus Kennedy.

Get Paddy as tough tackling centre half he couldn't be any worse.

So we're lininig up without RNL, Kennedy and M'voto. 3-2-2 sounds good to me :)

Seriously, is Bobinho fit? If so, he has to be the holding midfielder in a line-up designed to give it a go.

Sadly I don't think he is. We really could do with him in the team.

Any team with M'Voto, Kennedy and Nyatanga making up 3/5s of the defence is ******. In my opinion.

And, unfortunately, Hunt hasn't lived up to his reputation either.

True. But he had Hunt in midfield. God help us. (I don't believe in "god" as such. More a higher level of existence akin to theories of conservation of energy).

And the other two in the back five are either injured (and never played by any manager when he is fit) and a young kid from Liverpool who is just back from injury. Ace.

Aye, sorry about that, didn't notice. Just had a look and that team looks barmy. Not that I could pick one with this squad that would be up to much.

When the only consolation is that "we've had darker days", "3rd and 4th division' etc, then times really are bleak. Scary thing about this precipice is that it feels like there's no way back once we topple over. Or at least that's how I feel. I'm nearly 37 years old, so maybe not the best qualified to talk about BFC footballing hardship, but this feels really w4nk.

Despite how bad we are, it's still possible we won't be relegated, because, well, there are three other teams just as bad. If we are relegated I don't personally believe the squad is anywhere near the standard required to win promotion next year. I believe it's more likely we'll be facing another battle against relegation. Obviously, there'll be new recruits, but I don't know where the money would come from to sign anyone with any quality.

We are reaping what we sowed. Far too much money spent on loan players; no development for the future in the way of binging in young, raw talent; while time and time again decent players were sold for well under their market value, be that because we allowed escape clauses to be written in their contracts or we didn't have the nerve to hold out for a higher price. You can't keep on doing what we kept on doing without it eventually catching up with you. It really should have been last year, but Flitcroft's unbelievable motivational skills saved us. Unfortunately we then ****** up all the good work with our summer recruitment and retention list. A two year contract for Kennedy?! Jesus.

I just still can't get my head around professional footballers that only have to truly 'work' for 90 or 180 mins a week, yet can't show desire, commitment or determination for that minimal period despite earning a small fortune. Regardless of earnings, age, and background; how personal pride and effort can be so easily forsaken whilst allowing another man to so easily defeat you is beyond me.
