Are there any? I'll start: - Steele was brilliant again. He could still be the difference come May. - McLaughlin was fantastic first half. A proper player. Every time he ran at Harte, he cacked himself. Nowhere near match fit either so can only improve. - Nyatanga played well with Ramage. I wouldn't have been too unhappy with this pairing whilst Crainie was out. Shame about the Ramage injury. - We're still only 3 points from safety. Its not a mountain.
I thought Nyatanga was awful to be honest. Steele played well but he really needs to work on his kicking.
had todays match been the first or second match of the season I'd have thought this is a team with potential, a team that if there was some good training, match preparation etc, could do well as the season progresses. Unfortunately we're at the tail end of the season............
Where are the goals going to come from? Last 3 games: Goals for 0 Goals Against 7 Any hope of survival will have been extinguished by this time next saturday.
Really? I usually agree with most things you put, but not on this one. Both Ramage and Nyatanga were exposed due to the porous midfield and I thought they performed manfully. And I'm aware Steele cant kick. You can't have everything.
Can't disagree with any of that. I'd prefer it if Nyatanga could keep his clearances on the pitch, though. He attempted to hit quite a few down the line, all of which ended up in the East Lower. Sadly, the main negative is that the negatives outweigh the positives, massively.
