Relegation may only be another 4 or 5 games away with this spineless bunch of mercenaries. No guts, no desire and no fight for the badge on the shirt from too many players who are collecting wages and thing thank f*ck the season is nearly over so I can p*ss off to the beach.

Relegation will cost the club at least £5 million in lost revenue so BFC will have to try and balance some of the deficit.

I'm scratching my head to name any of our squad (not including loans obviously) that are proper decent championship players.

The below 4 could bring in at least £2 - £3 million, but who else do we have that is worthy of raising decent revenue.

    Steele
    COG
    Jennings
    Macourt

Only one good thing relegation will bring and that is Wilson getting rid of a load of the sh*te he has inherited and starting from scratch with his team and blooding some of the young emerging talent, I would rather have the kids playing every week than those pot pr*cks.

Heart like peas in a proud working class town whilst picking up £3 - £4k a week - they should hang their heads in shame.

Said it before and will say it again, the club went penny pinching when they set on that joke Hill and the lower league transfer policy has now taken us to where we are today, the club is on its arse, it has proper backfired and has only itself to blame.

I'll be amazed if we get much over £1 million from player sales. McCourt is out of contract, so we'd receive nothing. I'd expect interest in Cranie and Jennings, other than that I can't see much happening.

Mexbro - Would have thought Steele and COg is where the most coin would be raised

As for some of the tripe we have it may be a case of paying them up, because some of our players would get in the Highwoods Hotel first eleven !!!!

Redstar - Spot on mate - what a massive mistake to get rid of Robins

But I detest Hill with a passion, that bloke proper messed our club up with his lower league dumplings

McCourt won't go.. he's coming to an end now and championship maybe might be too much. Never know though. Hope he stays but think he'll go

I don't know. Nobody rivaled our bid for O'Grady in the summer, when the Pigs were happy to get rid of him. And, Steele was free to leave but he ended up staying.

I suppose you could say the same about Cranie, but I think he's been our best player this season. Jennings is still young, and he's one of our only positives to come this side of the New Year. I'd love to see us keep hold of all four of them, but it seems unlikely.

Don't think we'll bounce straight back up. Squad will be a lot different to what we have now. I've said before about our lack of scouting network. We've got plenty of competition for youth players in the Yorkshire area

How much for scouts redstar? Could pay for its sen long term. Seamus Coleman signed for Everton for £60k. Ok for every Coleman theres a Mostto. Just don't agree with signing players via YouTube.

Mikeytyke - who did Keith Hill use for his scouts ?? Stevie Wonder

Because some of the lower league tripe that Muppet brought in were laughable at this level and we are still paying for it now.

I agree with you about our scouting network needs to be improved and Wilson now will be able to bring his own staff in.

Haha Wath you might be right in stevie Wonder. Keith just brought players in he knew like most managers do. An earlier post about scouting said most Yorkshire teams had a scout at local games apart from reds. Was gonna ask how much is spent annually on youth set up. Previous managers didn't want a reserve team!

I'd like a team with the likes of RNL and Digby as first team regulars but they never stay fit long enough. It's like they are related to Darren Anderton.

Mikeytyke - the whole club wants a proper shake up from its grass roots to the top

The penny pinching cheap option has finally caught up with them and the club when relegation comes in a few weeks time is at a mssive crossroads, if they do not show some ambition, back Wilson and take their heads out of the sand then it could be years in League One for us.

Even if we get relegated we will be favourites for the play offs I would say but the fire sale of the half decent to raise some coin and the fire sale to get rid of the dross that our pinching money will basically break the squad apart and we start again.

I have seen a young lad a few times called Nana for the young uns who scores every other week, big strong fast knows where the onion bag is yet the hot dog man, half time draw man and Toby Tyke have more chance of making the bench than him and that's where the problem lies - no ambition and no thinking outside of the first team squad which is sh*t so why not chuck in young energetic hungry players.

Look around Jokewell, even the f*cking paint can't be bothered, club on its arse big style and is like watching a sick animal die slowly by a thousand cuts.

Hate to say it but maybe a takeover is just what we need as long as we don't sell the stadium.

Looks like 300 lads staying overnight in Weymouth for the Yeovil game could be the last swan song !!!

You've got a point. It's been the limit of ambition to finish 21st and when a manager has said he wants to do more he's been sacked.

This policy was bound to catch up with us. It's pointless discussing what could have been done as it's always seem as criticism of PC.
