It does it shows our board struggle to find the right man for the job.

also shows how fickle our fans are. other than mark robins, have any of those 13 been shock sackings? our fans start start baying for blood even sooner the board do.

Aye you're right it's why all this anti Wilson marlarkey is ridiculous. We need more stability not less.

But does it - apart from Thordason and Mark Robins, how many of them actually should not have been sacked ? I suspect most. Our problem has been not getting a better manager in the first place in many cases.

Too true. PHart, Davey, the berk and Flitcroft all should have been given more time.

It's not just us though. It's most clubs who are perennial strugglers.

I don't recall chants or much pressure from supporters to sack the last three managers.

If our owner/directors appoint someone and claim he's the right man for the club, they should revisit that train of thought as soon as their arses quiver at the thought of relegation.

    Short Term FC.

Paul Hart, Simon Davey, Keith Hill and David Flitcroft were all given enough time; none were sacked too soon.

Cryne is a football fan but he doesn't seem to know his football. Most of the appointments have been pretty dreadful and the struggle has continued. Robins knew he couldn't compete without the club showing a bit of ambition, so was on his way...

Flicker given 18 weeks into a new season is this how little time we are prepared to give, but then I suppose Danny has 4 weeks left to improve or he will be out anall. Yet folk bleat on abart 3 year contracts. Yours befuddled.

That's the point though MrsHT. There's as much grumbling about Wilson now as there was in the latter stages of Flicker's reign. We supporters like a good old moan, and a boo (see Saturday). But we're never in control of the managers future. The board/owner/CEO appoints that man because they see him as the best fit, I would imagine. It's their arses that fall out.

If the club back their chosen manager, refuse to jerk their knees, there's nothing the supporters can do about it, other than to keep on moaning/booing, or stop attending.

I wasn't a Flicker fan, but I never called for him to go. Totally understand why he was sacked though, and didn't disagree. With Keith, I loved the bloke. But I did want him out in the end. But I doubt the board/owner/CEO act upon the moans of the BBS, or the boos at Oakwell.

They're in charge. Their responsibility to show faith in their man. We'll then act accordingly.

    Or summat.

Tripe. At the ground where most direct frustration is shown there was very little in the way of calls for Hill or Flicker to go. Just empty stands.

    Robins NEVER said that.

I liked Mark Robins. But I have to say, he's underwhelmed me this season. I expected a lot more of Huddersfield considering the money spent and quality of player recruited. Their fans feel similarly.

I hope they stick with him though. Some of those players are of a decent age and will only improve.

    Patience etc.

Only their 2nd season in this league, they'll be pushing for promotion in next couple.

I think you under estimate the power of the fans and their ability to change board directions. The board needs to learn to tack if they don`t want to be blown of course.

Not that long since fans congregated outside the West Stand, after a game, to voice their concerns/abuse over a manager.

The last two managers oversaw some good spells, and some truly horrific spells. I never recall one chant of "Hill/Flitcroft Out!". Not one. It's my opinion they were both sacked because our board/owner/CEO's arses fell out at the prospect of relegation. Not because a few of us were moaning on a forum, or because a couple of hundred folk were booing the team at Oakwell.

Atmposphere at Huddersfield and at Oakwell on Saturday was as unsavoury as any matchday under the previous two managers. Let's hope our decision making men in charge keep their arses in check this time, eh?

Sorry but you can use all the stats you want whitey. Anymore from Wilson and it may be time.

A bad result tonight and then the Reds go behind at Yeovil and the fans WILL rightly be calling for his head.

If they do they deserve the shutters going up.

If Davey got three years Danny should get 30
