I like the letter from Ben Mansford, I like the early bird price, I like the move from student to young adult as many 17-21 year olds are paid a pittance if they can even find employment, I like that we've announced the prices so early and I like that we can buy a season ticket before the season has even ended. I know we don't know what division we'll be in next season, although lots of people claim they do, but it doesn't make any difference to me as I'll be going regardless, so I'll be buying my ticket in April in the hope that my money will help fund a recruitment drive that will see us pick up some quality.

I hope, now that we have shown we can plan for next season without having to wait for the conclusion of this, we will also confirm Danny Wilson as manager. His future at this club, just like the season ticket prices, should not depend on what division we play in next season.

    Can't complain at those prices.

I would also like the club to introduce the concept they have at Bradford. Bradford allow their supports to buy your seat for £50 when pay £10-15 per game. Just allows people who can't make occasional games due to work or family commitments for example to also see a saving benefit.

    Re: just tells me that

I'll be renewing out of habit rather than interest.

Don't think I will be renewing in time for the early bird discount though.

Is it just me, but if you can't find the funds (I could, but that's not the point) in April, you're faced with an increase? I haven't had a ST for the last two seasons so I'm not sure how much they were, but either £335 or £370 for a Ponty End ST seems an increase to me. I paid £315 for my last ST in there in 2011-12. Hopefully someone will be able to correct me on that.

I think they ought to have released the matchday prices as well, as a comparison. But if indeed the ST prices have gone up (and without knowing the division we're going to be in) then I assume the matchday prices are going up as well.

Had this been The Don in charge, different response I feel.

I won't be finding £300 or whatever in April. I assume many current ST holders will, and can't fault them. It's that or face an increase isn't it? So I'll continue paying on the day next season. I'll spend more over the season no doubt. But that doesn't make me less of a fan. The way Mansford is talking, he's suggesting that the sooner they get our money, the easier it will be to recruit the better players etc. But I've been a BFC fan for too long and remember that kind of ******** said in the past. Then the club would tell us Butterfield's money has gone to plug a gap etc.

The club haven't sold a decent player this season, for once. We're facing relegation and everything that entails financially. Some big old gaps to plug. Hence the early bird, in my opinion.

Btw, I find it staggering that they charge the same in the West as they do in the East. Unless there's legalities I'm unaware of.

The few responses in this thread seem to be happy and satisfied. So as I say, I'm hoping someone puts me right and I too can praise the club. Fingers crossed.

I look forward to your company next year. And those around us. The best story I have heard in years, maybe ever, is the Sistine Chapel/Leigh Lawson number. Brilliant. I've already recounted it a dozen times.

Use the finance offer YT if you want to get a ST but can't afford the lump sum in April. It doesn't answer the question you want putting right on, but I'm not sure what said question is.

Phil & culture never seem to mix! I can't believe Twiggy doesn't recount her meeting with the man from Barnsley in the Sistine Chapel to all her friends, either!

    Dear supporter,

Sorry we are *****. We'd quite like you to give us your money a few months early as little Tommy Kennedy needs a new car bless him and we've heard that Morecambe might have a reserve Centre forward who we might like to buy.

Whilst on one hand we would like to help low paid youngsters by extending our Juveniles ticket offer on the other hand we would love to penalise those who can't stump up the readies immediately and have to save up for a bit.

Previously we have used Mr Cryne's readies to shop on t'market for gems like Scott wiseman and Gentleman Jim McNulty not allowing us to vet them properly and realise they were pillocks. This year we will use your money to do the same.

    Yours with hugs

    Ver Management .

Not sure what they have planned but they mention ST benefits.

Would be nice if they were free pre season games.

The only reason I'd be tempted to buy a ST would be to help the club in terms of giving them my money as early as possible. But I like sitting in all three stands - on a whim - throughout the season. I've been a supporter for 26 years. 94-95 was my first as a ST holder. Was the case right through until 2011-12. But the two seasons now without one have been great. I can't believe I sat in the same seat/area for so long. It's nice to move around, sit with different groups of friends etc. If the club could offer that kind of ST then I'd be buying one.

So it's a decrease if you buy one next month, but an increase otherwise?

    Cheers.

    If you buy next month.

Seriously, had this been Don in charge, very different response.

I'll be saving £15 on what I paid last year by buying early but it must be tough for people with mortgage's & kids to fork out that amount in a 30 day period. There should be some sort of deal where you can agree to renew your season ticket but spread the cost over 3 months.

    A lot unhappy on Facebook.

It seems to me that the die hards who will get a season ticket whichever league we're in are happy as they can renew for less money as long as they pay early but the less committed who are unsure whether they'd watch us in league one are pissed off as it means they've got to make a decision to make earlier than planned.

That's not a dig at anyone by the way. I can see why a lot of people are considering sacking it off next season, it's not exactly been a barrel of laughs this season has it?

    Stick with the club.

PS you can pay over 5 or 10 months like in the last couple or so seasons.
