For some reason I can no loner get on any bbc site on my phone. Can't get on via google or directly via bookmarks or any links posted on here. I can get on all other sites perfectly normally. Has anyone had/have a similar issue? O2 are completely clueless
I've had a weird thing on my Nexus 7 tablet where when I go to the BBC website it takes me to the USA version and it has adverts all over it?
It must be though, because BBC works on WIFI on the same device. Equally BBC sites don't work on 3G whether I am using Chrome or Safari. There must be something on O2s network restricting BBC sites on my account. I wouldn't mind, but when I want a **** at work I now have nothing to read.
o2 cant restrict specific sites as such, same as they cant block you from dialling specific numbers. Only thing o2 can restrict you on is age restricted sites, and it takes you to an o2 bango site (think its recently changed) where you have to pay a quid on a credit card or call customer services to remove. If its an iphone try these; settings > general > reset > reset network settings back up all your files to itunes/icloud then go settings > general > reset > erase all content and settings. then go to itunes and restore from back up (work in iphone tech for o2) let me know if this does the trick pal.
Thanks mate. I will try that. Properly pissing me off and everyone I have spoke to at O2 are clueless
