All i want is a pair of jeans

I don't want boot cut, skinny, extra skinny, skinny stretch, skinny flared, skinny tapered, regular tapered, regular stretch, low waisted, high waisted, hipsters, loose fitted, high rise, low rise, low slung...I just want a normal pair of jeans..right that's my whinge, I'm just off to Costa now to ask for a coffee

 

I see a middle age crisis .... reach for something stronger than coffee.

 

errm now what color would you like those jeans in

black, Navy, brown, beige,red, green, olive, stone washed, pebble washed, marble washed, faded, distressed, hysterical, suicidal, manic, etc etc............ and do you want Linen, denim, corduroy, satin, Bedford cord, canvas, moleskin, leather, etc etc


come on man make yer bloody mind up.

 

Not a chance pal, especially if you are of normal size and build.

I'm 5'10" n 12 stone.......34 waist, 30 leg......can I find normal jeans to fit ????? Can I bugg£ry. If I was 6' 10" n 8 stone or 4 foot n twice as wide I'd have loads to choose from

AND I'll tell you another thing, the material they make em from these days is cr@p.

It used to take forever to wear a pair of jeans out as a kid, even cheap ones.Climb trees in em, play football, hide n seek, hedge hopping. didn't matter, they were indestructible (especially Levi n Wranglers). Now the most strenuous thing I do in em is cross my legs and the left knee of nearly every pair I own has worn through

AND the more you pay the worse they get!






If you see a normal sized bloke walking round Hoyland or Elsecar with the left knee worn through on his jeans just say hello (or ignore me if you don't want to hear the same rant again )

I have horrendous trouble trying to buy jeans, couldn't find a pair to fit me up until last year. I'd have to get two sizes too big and belt them up as my waist is tiny, but apparently all small sized jeans are made for people that have non-existant butts. I've finally discovered that Next jeans are pefect.

 

And that's just the coffee I've ask for

 

I feel your pain mate. Have this trouble everytime I go to buy a new pair.

 

Been through this this morning mate, why would a 52 year old guy want a pair of jeans that show my arse crack, low slung waist , WTF ? Why try and sell me something that just is not what I want? I used to get Levi`s or Wranglers every time, last pair of them I got were crap!
Skinny fit, boot cut, stretch why ?????????????? I am a fat fecker, I know that I will look a **** in any of those, so just let me buy some jeans that are just NORMAL !!!!!

I didnt bother in the end , went and bought a new Air conditioning unit instead !

 

Matalan is the place for us oldens got some good selections and proper leg sizes

 

i get levi 501 best pair there stright cut i go to meadowhall for them cost me 70 quid in a shop upstairs cant remember name not house of fraser its in the middle but i also found a shop in town that sells lots of levis upstais cant remember name of that either but its up that ginnel at back of mns half way up just had a refurb he knocks ya money of told me 55 quid after i had just paid 70 i know how hard it is for a good pair so try them.

 

Better get thissen darn t' Primark then.

 

At least men's jeans all have leg sizes, women's jeans are ridiculous, one size fits all and all that. How can they just say 8, 10, 12 etc and think they are all the same height? Some shops do now at least do short, regular and long, but that doesn't really solve it.

 

Blimey, have you heard of commas or full stops?
