Went to watch him last night.

He's about 5 times cleverer than me and I am 5 times cleverer than the majority of people on here which makes him 22 times cleverer than you lot.

Apart from that he was ******* ace.

He just uses big words for me. More of an Iannucci man myself

You would have been in the majority last night. Ive never seen women through themselves at a person in the way they did last night. He milked it, funnily I might add, but **** me they were basically chucking their quims at him on a plate.

Some people think he is the answer to the worlds problems , and some people understand what he really is.

In all honesty though, who actually thinks that Russell Brand has the answer to world problems?

What is he, in your eyes mate?

I don't get him. He's clearly an intelligent guy, but I just don't find him funny. Each to their own.

His "prank" on Andrew Sachs didn't do him any favours.

He does seem an intelligent bloke, but that did leave a bad taste in the mouth

I'm with you too. I find him painful to watch (and hear). Channel gets switched over as soon as I see him. He may come across as intelligent, but he's not in the slightest bit funny, IMO.

Me too. I can listen to him discussing things and find him quite compelling but I don't find him funny.

I think he's excellent. Even read both his books. They read in the same rambling way that he talks, you can almost hear him reading the words. Appreciate that he's not everyone's cup of tea, in the same way that I think chubby brown is garbage but loads go watch him.

    Is he **** a genius.

Saw him on Question Time and he was clueless, not funny or good-lucking either.

To sum up, greasy, unfunny and annoying.

Like owt else, it's personal taste. Love Brand's newspaper columns, not arsed about his stand up. Gervais's script writing is sublime, but find his acting annoying.

To me, Steve Coogan is a feckin genius...but I can understand why folk find him annoying.

    Marmite, eh...
