Saw on twitter that two young lads weren't allowed entry on Saturday having being found to be in possession of a smoke cannister. Seems someone managed to get one in. Any of those off here who went know who it was, or what went off? We're going to end up getting a fine here.
What colour? Wasn't yellow again was it? I'm hoping it was red at least. I mean, they're thick cnuts in the first instance, but bringing the right colour cannister in would at least show some signs of intelligence. "I've got us a flare for setdi, mate" "smoke cannister you idiot" "aye, same thing" "colour is it?" "yellow, it's all they had" "silly basterd" "still setting it off though" "try not to hit some poor lovely person on the head with it this time eh?" "I was pissed last time, I'd had 3 WKD's" "LAD"
One landed near me and thankfully to say it was red one went off for 2nd goal i believe and other one was at the other end.
Well done to them for at least getting the colour right this time. Let's hope that nobody was injured this time though, or any young girls were struggling for breath etc. ******* idiots.
Didn't see as I was outside supping my ale and dancing around like a loon (after GoG scored) This "culture" of smoke canisters needs to stop though. Hopefully people realise it's a fcking **** idea taking them to matches Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
No chuffing about these pillocks need stopping. But if people let off canisters in Oakwell it's our fault. If they let them off at way grounds it's also our fault. Seems a bit weird.
1st 1 was a Red one, was near me. 2nd 1 was behind nets. End up with points deduction knowing our bloody luck !!
Might be down to our 'previous' this season? **** knows. All I do know is that they're dangerous, as we've seen this season, and add **** all to the event except trouble. My opinion might not be universal, but when is it ever?
I don't understand how some people make a joke of this. It's not even remotely funny choking on thick smoke or getting your skin burned all in the name of "entertainment". Those setting them off should be put in a confined space and left there with a hundred or so of them going off around them. All red, obviously.
can you imagine that? survive on the last day, with a glorious injury time winner against QPR. then get a points deduction to send us down i suspect all the goodwill towards these loveable rogues might take a bit of a hit..
Better from the club, proactively informing us and now (looking at threads on here) it'll start to self police itself. I personally don't mind 'em, think they look quality but if it's getting the club in bother then there's no point.
The ones I've seen at Oakwell don't look quality. That one against Wednesday? A shitty yellow smoke cannister thrown onto the field from the Ponty End via a blokes head. My mate said he saw a young girl struggling to draw breath at Doncaster when others were set off in the gangways. Doesn't sit right with me that.
