They aren't. Boro were charged and fans banned last month for similar offences. Some Wednesday, Leeds and Leicester fans suffered the same this season. It's not just us.
Leicester have been doing it week in week out and I can't see much about an FA charge... Same with burnley. God help us if we ever get AFC Manchester in cup...
Not our problem. We're Barnsley FC, not Yeovil. Their stewards found two youngsters trying to get into the away end with smoke cannisters and they were arrested according to twitter. Seems one or two others slipped through the net.
Probably because both are about to be promoted and don't care about a poxy fine. Whereas, we're likely to be relegated and financially ****** up the arse so a poxy fine will add extra hurt to our crevice.
How big are these things? Are they small enough to conceal somewhere, errrr, restricted. Surely a rudimentary search should be able to find them? If found put them into immediate custody, confiscate their ticket (Season ticket if they have one) then throw the book at them for carrying an offensive weapon. I've been searched going into away grounds and felt a bit miffed about it given my age and the fact that I wouldn't dream of causing any kind of trouble at a football ground, or anywhere else for that matter. Why don't police and stewards find these things and, even more baffling, why don't they charge straight into the bunch of idiots who are letting them off and take them straight out of the ground. Just incredible how these cretins keep getting away with it. I would like to see one of the perpetrators blinded or badly burned while holding one. That might stop it!!
Not quite the point I am making... Barnsley are up on a charge. Burnley are not. And they flung a ****ing chicken on the pitch
At Blackburn. Did you not see it? But the principles the same. If we are getting charged for smoke canisters at Yeovil then so should they at Blackburn.
Do they regularly 'let off' chickens this season? Or was it a one off? We've been letting off a lot of smoke cannisters this season and that's why I think we're under investigation again. Could be wrong, mind.
