they've done it a while http://store.rfu.com/stores/rfu/pro...|46164=kits&category|cat_46164|46168=home kit They've produced two shirts, one fitted that would suit the players and another that us normal folk can wear. See the prices on that link. 90 quid for rugby test shirt 55 for pro shirt that fans wear
just saying. People are going mad about it but thats how it is in Rugby and as been for a while. Not seen press go OTT about them
If you're on minimum wage it takes about 2 days to earn enough money to buy the England shirt. 2 days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Adidas do this with their shirts for some teams, you can either buy a normal replica version or the powerweb version.
Like the away shirt but considering I've got an 18 month old, even with the replica I'd be looking at nearly £100. Mental pricing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
personally i couldn't care less. i wouldn't buy one if they were a fiver. i don't get this 'robbing the fans' business though. just don't buy one. gstar jeans are £120 a pair. doesn't mean you have to buy 'em
I have no problem with them doing a proper sports one and an identical looking casual one for different prices but there has to be two important conditions and that is that A/. The expensive one is only more expensive by the actual production costs and not double the price just because they can and B/. That the casual one is reasonably priced and unfortunately the FA have ripped people off on both counts this time They cant justify £60 for the usual shirt, they just cant. And I find it hard to believe that it costs an extra £30 to make the other one either
They are a lot Supertyke and when England win the world cup then everyone who got one would need another shirt anyway. I'm just saying a lots been made of it but Rugby Union clubs have done for a while and nothings been said. Lenzo says that others have done this already.
it just doesn't mean anything to me. england football team don't mean owt to me anymore though. i'm fine with ticket prices too, tbh. will cost me less than £12 a game next year
