I could cry. What a shockingly frustrating evening. No passion, no fight, nothing. Jacob Mellis - heart the size of a pea. Woeful. Martin Woods - what does he actually bring to the table? Anyone? It was a performance that reflected a lot. We looked a beaten team from the get go. Burnley weren't good tonight and we never ever tested them. Did we actually have a shot on target? I can't remember Heaton having to make a save. That, for a professional football team at this level is embarrassing. I am so frustrated right now it's not even funny. Those players tonight should hang their heads. I'd rather have seen 11 blokes out of the stand give 200% and lose 8-0 than watch what I did tonight. Positives? I actually thought we defended ok after conceding. That's it. We offered nothing else League One it is then.
They don't. I singled out arguably the two worst players on the pitch that's all. By the way, who was the man of the match? I was already in the car so didn't hear it. I'd have gone with Nyatanga personally.
Decent defence, inept midfield and a lone striker who never performs well on his own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For the goal McLaughlin was nowhere near his man which gave their player loads a time to pick the cross, wouldn`t attach any blame to Nyatanga. The central pairing played well yet again.
When was the last time we went four home games without scoring? Jim Illey must have been the manager.
