Of course i do, and i was beginning to think he had, but tonight was dreadful, 1 step forwards 2 steps back. There is still time for him to prove me wrong this season, and i sincerely hope he does, and i will be first to hold my hands up.
********, it's took you an hour and half to appear after three good results. We are bottom for a reason, we don't have enough good players for whatever reason and are paying the price for seven plus years of clueless leadership.
How can you say that? The guy has hardly had a chance! Not saying that things would be different but unless one tries one will never Know
I guess we won't but whilst I'd never deny he's got talent I don't think the rest are good enough to play with him hence rendering him ineffectual.
I agree the starting 11 was all wrong. Lawrence must have been unfit, maybe can't do a game every 3 days at the moment. But I would have gone with Bobby or Frimpong before Woods, he is so limited as a player. Mellis just reappearing in the team is baffling too, maybe should have been another striker on the pitch. But we have to stick with Danny, he's improved us no doubt, the damage had been done this season, he can sort it out if we stick with him.
I think we have a good enough squad to stay in this division, we are where we are because of terrible tactics and team selections, from both managers this season. I had sympathy with Wilson to start with, he had to come in and assess the situation and the players etc, but he's had enough time to know his best starting 11, and get the balance right, but still he's getting it wrong. The last 2 away wins seems to be a flash in the pan, granted he had a player out suspended and one injured, but he had alternatives.
Ive been looking above since the New Year praying for survival but tonight I realise it finally is end game.
He's also dealing with the defeatist mentality my that pervades the club from top to bottom where just enough has been good enough for too long. That won't change at the hands of DW I'm afraid.
