I hear you on that, and on Saturday I'll be hoping again. But I'm a reactionary basterd and tonight I'm saying we're down. I said it two weeks and four days ago and we won the next two. Play my silly game. :)

Yep, tonight the final nail was hammered in by Danny and the team (IMO). I hope they prove me wrong but all the hope they gave me in the last few games has gone.

I don't want or need to convince anyone on Mellis. That's his job. But I'm allowed an opinion on him as a BFC player and he's not the 'terrible laiker' that some folk suggest. In my opinion.

He has got talent no doubt but he also has a good way of hiding it. Lost my patience with him other week and maybe its time for him to leave that`s my stance.

I think so. We could beat Charlton and still be two points behind them with them having a game more to play.

Not that tonight relegated us. We lost 1-0 at home to a club who will win promotion. That is not the disgrace that is being claimed. We didn't play well, but Burnley didn't let us. In actual fact, we looked pretty solid, but our attacking play wasn't up to scratch. Results earlier in the season, under both Flitcroft and Wilson, have done for us, and we've left ourselves too much to do. If, to avoid relegation, you've got to beat the team second in the league, a country mile ahead of the team in third, then you've got to look at what you've done before hand and what we've done hasn't been good enough.

Out of contract, and whatever division we're in I think he's a goner. I would have said 'shame' a while back. Which is the point I'm making. He is (or was) a talented young lad who I enjoyed watching, but always frustrated me in equal measures. Another Jacob did similarly, but less so. That's the type of player he is. So I'm not calling him great or owt. I wouldn't have selected him tonight. I was baffled by his random inclusion. I can only assume these things are based on performances in training.

But he int the bag o **** that some are now suggesting, with short memories I reckon.

He's just one of many I feel, who I'll be a bit 'meh' about if indeed he does depart in the Summer.

I still think we've a chance. We've to finish above Millwall & Yeovil & leapfrog Blackpool. I'd say there's about a 30% chance of that happening. Blackpool's been the worst team in the league by a mile & are unlikely to win another game
