Be honest how many people on here actually expected us to get something against Burnley last night ?

If that match had been played earlier in the season, I reckon it would have been 4 or 5 nil as the team imploded, but we didn't and ended up losing to a team heading for promotion 1 nil...

As it stands looking at the table, realistically everyone below Huddersfield is still in this relegation battle, especially if we can pull out results against Bolton and Charlton, the latter being vital..

Some people on here are starting to sound exactly like the fanbase of our Sheffield neighbours who immediately jump on the back of the manager after a defeat, calling for his head, clueless tactics etc.. Get real people, try supporting your team instead of pulling them down at every opportunity. What real options did Danny have in replacing Etuhu and Lawrence ? Very limited in my opinion.. I read peoples thread on here and the same people who have slated Lawrence as being over the hill, legs gone now are shocked he wasn't in the team.. Same people who slated Mvoto who has hardly had a chance, yet I thought he was MOM yesterday by a long shout..

Well I am going to Bolton with hopes of a win. A refreshed Lawrence and Etuhu back in for Mellis and Woods, the table could look a lot different by this time next week!

I also had to cringe yesterday, when somebody phoned Radio Sheffield to say we are now down and also commented on the game Hunt had at right back yesterday... Well observed he warmed the bench a treat!

    Yooouuuuuu Reeeddddddzzzzzzzz....

That's what the well organised promotion chasing teams can do.. So your point is ?

After coming back from last nights game and seeing that the effort is there from the players and we certainly look solid at the back with Mvoto and nyatanga now, we aren't down and out yet. Jennings last night could have scored or done better on atleast two occasions which would have earned us a point against a quality well organised side.
I know we lack quality at times but, for me if we can win atleast 3 of our remaining games which we can, then Blackpool could be the team we overtake. There remaining fixtures aren't easy as they have Burnley, Brighton and Wigan... They play Leeds next who have to win eventually now their takeovers completed, Last game they play Charlton who are fighting for their lives....
Im still optimistic and that we can stay up, so I agree with the original post

It wouldn't have been 4/5 nil at any stage of the season because they were happy with one

Then she used the football phone in to hold up Chris Morgan whilst she told the listeners how much she loves her girlfriend who's she's marrying in August. It was Brian The Blade level cringey.
