After coming back from last nights game and seeing that the effort is there from the players and we certainly look solid at the back with Mvoto and nyatanga now, we aren't down and out yet. Jennings last night could have scored or done better on atleast two occasions which would have earned us a point against a quality well organised side. I know we lack quality at times but, for me if we can win atleast 3 of our remaining games which we can, then Blackpool could be the team we overtake. There remaining fixtures aren't easy as they have Burnley, Brighton and Wigan... They play Leeds next who have to win eventually now their takeovers completed, Last game they play Charlton who are fighting for their lives....This may be our escape route...
If Blackpool fail to secure another point they are still six ahead of us. Where will we get six points from, cause I can't see us getting more than another three?
I think we need to win 4 to stay up even if Blackpool dont get another point Charlton will and I suspect Millwall and Yeovil might win another couple at least. Not saying we cant do it but its a huge ask - Home we havent scored in 4 games - so we need to change that sharpish - we usually beat Leeds so we might do that but QPR will be harder to score against. but even if we do win those 2 we have to win 2 away games - Charlton is a must win and we need to win at Bolton or Middlesborough - we havent a hope at Derby to have any hope at all we need to win the next 2 games if we lose on Saturday the chances of survival become very small indeed
QPR may be saving themselves for the play offs if everything goes Burnley s way Saturday, conserve there energy when they play us ,,,,
if its squeaky bum time for us its also the same for those around us .its about us finishing the season with heads held high and doing the business
