Never had this feeling about watching a game of football before. Not a BFC one anyway.

Had O'grady scored that pen I'd have probably felt different.

Such a disappointing season. Cant wait for it to end.

Considering the levels of optimism in the summer I think this has to be the worst season I can remember.

Without a doubt the worst I've seen.

Too right, most of us were optimistic in the summer. I placed a bet with some confidence last July on a top-half finish, and what a waste that's proved to be.

Agree with previous posters on the need for two strikers tomorrow, and we have got to go for broke.

To be honest it's still something of a mystery as to why the team couldn't get anywhere near the levels of performance that they had at the end of last season.

It's the first time in years that we haven't lost players that we wanted to keep in pre-season yet at no point have we really shown we deserve to be in this division. For maybe six of the eight seasons we've been back in the Championship we've relied on at least three teams being worse than us, I didn't think we'd have to do that this season even after the poor start.

    no mystery.

    1. Flitcroft re-signed players that had got us into the doo dar the season before instead of going out and bringing in championship quality players
    2. Flitcroft re-signed players that were a. not good enough and b. unlikely to feature again, because of sentiment - i.e. McNulty
    3. The same players failed to produce yet again and had to be replaced with loanees
    4. The loanees don't have the heart and fight for our club
    5. Too many players in and out
    6. No game plan in 60% of games other than lump it to ogrady who will be hanging round on the wing somewhere
    7. Failure to be mentally strong and see games out
    8. Lacked confidence and belief a lot of the time

A lot has been improved since danny came in but the damage has been done and hes been playing with a duff hand however im baffled as to why he kept playing the same crappy system a lot of the time and in this we become so one dimensional and easy to play against its unreal.
