Afternoon lads,

Wishing you the best of luck tonight against Charlton, for what is a huge game in your fight for survival. I think I speak for a lot of Wednesdayites when I say that a game at Oakwell is always a decent away day regardless of the result. Good bit of friendly banter (for most sets of supporters).

A lot of Wednesday fans have no problem with Barnsley Football Club or their fans for that matter - and would happily see you again next season.

We'd say the same about going to Hillsborough, but you always, always, always beat us and it's become a bit tiring. 97th minute this season and that one doesn't even make the top 10 of results at Hillsborough we feel aggrieved about.

Cheers Wednesday. I'm resigned to relegation now and I will miss the Wednesday game (at Oakwell) more than any other. I won't miss the game at Hillsboro

Incorrect. Born and raised in Dee Dar land. I have no affiliation with your club or town whatsoever.

I am merely hoping you stay up because I quite like your club, regardless of any geographical "rivalry" there may be. Unlike the other clubs around South Yorkshire, I see Barnsley as a good, solid, hardworking family club. I'd rather see the likes of yourselves each week than your "spend ridiculous sums" clubs like QPR and Forest.

It's a shame you harbour such negative feelings towards Wednesday, but there again I wouldn't expect any Barnsley fan to particularly like Wednesday much anyway!
