Fact is he is the best manager we can attract, he inherited a poor squad, as regards to the quality of players, then you get what you pay for ie. small wages poor quality players. Dont get me wrong some of his signing havent worked out but that happens with every manager including fergie. Last two seasons we have been lucky to stay up with pompey having points deducted and posh losing by a freak goal. We ant scored in 5 games at home cos we ant got that quality striker who costs money. Atleast Danny is experienced and can get us out of league one if we go down. He can rebuild us. If the blame lies anywhere then its with the club for not sacking Flicker earlier which i had asked for week in week out. Bring on derby....theres still a chance.
Guys you are pissing into the wind talking to a chuff like him so why waste your breathe.... still his easter hols will be over soon and its back to primary 3 for him
Danny is not the problem, he is getting things wrong but that is just because he's got **** tools to work with.
How many managers do you know would play one striker up front at home in our position. Negative hoofball up to a striker that's incapable of winning a header. This is not the first game this has happened this has been his tactics in the last 5/6 home games at least, it's clearly not worked. Is he the best manager we can attract or just the biggest name I would go with the latter. I wanted Wilson in charge through memory of his last stint here free flowing attacking football, a joy to watch, his mindset has changed and it's cost us dearly. Anybody who thinks he will bring us straight back up just look at his record in league one and there's nothing to suggest he will do that. And just for the record I will carry on supporting him/them as I always have done but he's got it badly wrong in many ways.
ask Burgundyred.... we opened together now **** off, and stop having a go at me in order to appease your disappointed over today... or I will nick your sweeties at playtime too.
Who is having a go at you? Your like a female...reading what you want to see Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
errm conan was having a little dig-ette at me actually but I am used to that... but to get back in the theme of the post... do you really think that yet another manager change will be our answer, we may well be going down, but we do so need stability.
Re: errm conan was having a little dig-ette at me actually We need a complete clear out, the new era begins in league 1. Lets start developing our young players with a young ambitious manager. Who? Well its not my decision but there will be someone out there.
Re: errm conan was having a little dig-ette at me actually I like Danny Wilson - first proper manager we've had in a long time. How we can afford to tell fans to **** off qnd support anyone else I don't know.
Re: errm conan was having a little dig-ette at me actually Someone who'd look at a club that has had 5 managers (including Wilson and Mellon's short tenure) in 4 years, inheriting a sqaud bereft of quality, heart and spirit and think 'It's not worth it!'
Absolute BS. That man has turned us into a joke. I never wanted the Judas back to start with. But the spineless, clueless stuff turned out at Oakwell since the Derby game is why we are going down.
