If we had any decent players -then fair enough - but we've been desperate to get rid of any talent for the last five seasons at least. Wilson walks into the biggest pile of *****, a gfoup of players who have hearts the size of dried peas, qnd it somehow all his fault. Give him a closed season and next year to sort something out. He's not a magician. Just want to confirm this relegation and get on with it now. ******** to it all.
I agree. He can't be judged on the efforts of this spineless bunch of tossers. I will be very disappointed if some of them are still here next season.
It most certainly is not all Wilson's fault, but the players he has brought in and tactics and team selections and an inability to use substitutions, has hardly shown us that he is the man to rebuild the club. Get rid of the lot of them and start afresh not live on past achievements.
Wilson as also brought a load of rubbish to the club also name one good player that been brought in by him
Thing is he's brought in alot of spineless bunch of tossers. I'm worried about him being allowed to spend a transfer budget in the summer. I base this on his inability to find good players for us so far (McLaughlin aside). What's to say he won't bring in more garbage like German Nick, Ping Pong, Shea, Woods etc?
He has, but most of his (panic) loan and freebie signings have been *****. Devoid of pace and ideas across the board - all loanees should be cancelled at the end of this game and sent back because none will be playing for us next season.
Harsh imho - but everyone is entitled to their opinion. We're ***** at the end of the day and being a reds fan is miserable.
Lets not forget that this is the man who Bought Brek Shea to the club. One of the most half hearted players ever to play in a Reds Shirt.
His record in league one is pretty good. I think he deserves time to rebuild but you're right his signings have been disastrous and is a source of concern about him.
I can for two reasons first a number of fans didn't want him to come back so now they have in their eyes been proved right second free tactics recently have been poor no goals in the last 5 home games has something todo with the tactics as well as the players. Not saying he should be sacked myself but I have been disappointed with the way we have set up to play most games Holloway inherited a similar hand at Millwall and it looks like he has just about managed to turn it round by trying to win games instead of trying not to lose we have been unlucky with injuries too some extent but the players Danny has brought in Lawrence excepted have been worse than we had already also despite many near misses Danny has never managed to get a side promoted from the 3rd Division and I don't expect him to do it next season either but I also think it's less risky to give him a go as I think he could consolidate us mid table if we try someone new we could see back to back relegations if we get it wrong
Have to agree with you there. His signings of Shea, Frimpong, Proswitcz, Woods - ALL well below standard, a waste of a wage. Tactics suspect as well, hoof ball to COG ass we all have seen is the main outlet. I wouldn't put money on a top-half finish next season either. Danny's surviving on reputation only. I just hope he learns from all this.
Yer living in the past, pal. His current tenure at BFC, he has brought in absolute dog sh!te who have not improved us one bit. His tactics and formations are also highly questionable. Anyone else, but Wilson, who had done the same poor job at BFC, fans would be screaming for him the sack.
He really wanted Peter Crouch but for some reason Stoke weren't having any of it. On paper the loan of Shea looked a good one given the lad's aspirations to play in this summer's World Cup so he needed to prove his fitness. The problem with loan players is the loaning Club are in the driving seat. We'll be getting either a player they don't rate or do rate him and can see us developing the lad. Danny had little time to assess what he needed and no money to get in signings he would have liked. For this reason I'd give him a pre-season. We desperately need some stability on and off the pitch.
Fair point I'd still start next season with him but won't be too upset if we made a completely fresh start
Similar to flitcroft last season. He may have flufed with pre season but he was able to man manage the dross he was left with. Not sticking up for flicker he was out of his depth as was proved. But he could get best out of people something danny has lacked
The difference with Flitcroft and Danny is that Flitcroft already knew the players as he'd already worked with them.
He still had to pick them up and get a performance out of them from being down and out with no direction
