I'm hardly flouncing. I'd have gone by now if I was.

Every time someone criticises Wilson you get in a huff. Some people aren't going to rate him. The same way we dint rate the berk or Davey.

I don't think he's beyond criticism but believe that the vitriol ought to be trained elsewhere.

I'm sure we'll reconcile. Unfortunately you'll still be you.

Can't say I was too excited about Woods, but I thought Frimpong, Proschwitz and Shea were great signings. Hunt too. And McLaughlin after I'd seen him play that first game. None of them lived up to their billing and even McLaughlin hasn't reached anywhere near the heights we saw in that first game. Young lad though, so you can't expect miracles from him.

Very disappointing, but I had no problem with our transfer activity at the time.

Frimpong - I was excited about his arrival. I knew he was a bit of a character, but I expected him to be a better midfielder than the likes of Perkins.

Shea - I know my football, but had never heard of him. I read up on him and saw nothing but bad stuff written about him. He did okay in the MLS, but other than that? So no, I was never excited by his arrival. Can see Danny's thinking on it (and Frimpong) though.

Proschwitz - I'd seen him score for Hull against Boro and thought he'd be good competition for COG. He's generally disappointed me after an initial bright start.

Woods - Was speechless when he signed. Awful player when I saw him in the past. Seen nowt to change my mind.

Hunt - Thought he'd be a terrific signing. Looked it on debut at Wednesday. Been injured or poor since.

McLaughlin - About as good as I expected. I'd like to see him here next season. Think he'll come very good one day.

Lawrence - Was excited to see him. Gutted it took so long for him to figure, but he's been an improvement I reckon.

Can't fault Danny for the vast majority. Risk/reward.

However, I don't think he should have got rid of Dagnall (said so, on my own, at the time). And also reckon he dropped a bollock not recruiting another left back.

He had a lot to do, and overall he's failed to keep us up. I don't blame him entirely, in fact I'd apportion very little blame in his direction. It's what he does once the season ends that I'll be taking more notice of. That retained list will hold clues. My enthusiasm for next season rides on it.

Was happy with the Lawrence signing on memories of past displays against us. the others I hadn`t really heard and gave them the benefit of the doubt as yer do but they have let the manager down as others have with past managers.

Sorry forgot about Woods had heard and seen of him but I wish hadn`t.

Completely agree apart from Woods. We didn't need a midfielder we needed another left back.

Etuhu should've been involved as a CM rather than outcasted cos he had a bad game playing on the wing

With hindsight, there are parallels with the type of players Donny signed the last time they went down, didn't work for them and unfortunately the same has happened with us.

But yeah, at the time I thought they were all really good signings for a club in our position and thought we'd win more than we'd lose. Think there's only really been Lawrence who has been worthy of a place in the side and that's only been since the beginning of March time.

Danny had a few weeks to assess team. , gambled on his loan signings changing the form
round but it didn't really change . On paper they all seemed better players than the ones we let go . Wish we had kept dagnall , know he didn't score many , but him and ogrady did at least link up ok .
