    watched it today ex Barnsley player on only gave his first name Paddy transferred from Hull to Barnsley then to Notts Forresr , finished up playing in America. Just can't place him any ideas seems to be in his sixties

    He was a cracking left half, before we had midfielders. Played number 6. Strong player, lots of experience higher up the league than we were then. He did well enough for us to get another shot at the First or Second Division - can't remember what league Forest were in.

    Certainly one of our better players during that period. I wonder if B Hunt is on BBC play it again - wouldn't mind seeing him.

    Hardly ever watch it. Was one a while ago with a serving RAF officer and his wife on one of the teams and I knew the officer from some years ago but could not think of his name.

    Drove me mad the whole way through trying to recall his second name. His face, voice and mannerisms were just as they were when I had known him before. Probably wake up in the middle of the night one day shouting out his name!
