Danny should come out and be honest. Don't hoodwink people into renewing if we're planning on keeping tripe like Dawson and Kennedy.
you honestly think the club will come out and say they are defo playing xy z in april. I thought you were a fan of bfc not certain players.
I was being facetious but I will be mightily ****ed off if we give new contracts to all the players I don't like.
There is no skullduggery CT; Dawson and TK will definitely be here next season regardless of which division we are in. Just my opinion of course.
I pretty much agree. We have some proper ***** at the club that must be shown the door but once we get shut of the **** we can build a team with the rest and some new players.
A consistent and on form Luke Steele is as good as we'll ever find at this or the level below. The fact he keeps staying here, that he enjoys representing our club and took a pay cut to stay last Summer only adds to my appreciation of him and his talents as a keeper/bloke. Only a complete moron would try and get shut of him. I think we can do better than Dawson and Kennedy. One of them is out of contract and bailed for match fixing. If he was amazing (he's nowhere near) I'd understand the clamour. But he's bang average and I'd rather play Digby in there alongside a flair player or two. Sick to my stomach of these so-called 'grafters' or 'toilers' who've merely grafted and toiled their way to the arse end of the table. Kennedy is on silly money for a player of his quality. If he was on more acceptable wages, I'd not be against keeping him as understudy to a new left back. As it is, I expect him to stay because we'll have no takers on those wages, and he's not going to walk away from a salary he'll never get close to again. Hassell's future is dependent on his fitness/injury issues. If it was based on talent alone, he'd be nailed on to stay. I hope he does (stay) but if not it won't be the end of the world because we're used to playing (losing) without him now.. Jim O'Brien would be the first out of contract player I'd be trying to retain. I'd expect him to tear League One up. Fact that he's a sound bloke helps as well. I am sick of players showing up at Oakwell who couldn't care less about us. The likes of Frimpong are an embarrassment that we can do without. Ryan McLaughlin's tweet to him last night was bang on..
No idea about Frimpong but there's no way he'll be staying so it's not relevant. Apparently he's already been told to find a new club. You'll believe what you want regarding Steele so I'm not even getting involved, pal.
On Steele you seem to forget he will ditch a team if someone he deems better comes along. He left the club hes a fan of at 16/17. Steele cost us points against Derby and Leeds and thats just the last two games. Should have saved both goals against Derby and against Leeds well that was a shocker to let in. How many times have you seen hassell play football this season? On O'brien, I would keep him but I don't care if they are nice people. It's why we are in the mess we are whitey that Flitcroft seemed to sign players up because they were nice people.
I was referring to Mellis and Frimpong in particular but to be fair there are one or two others that I would be getting shut of too.
McLaughlin deleted the tweet. Frimpong was trying to make fun of something Ryan posted about the Summer and World Cup being close, and Ryan's reply was summat along the lines of "just because you've got nothing to do now until the Summer..."
