Be even worse for them without the money they got off Reebok and now this. Our own club seems to do very little to bring in revenue streams so that.... 1) The manager has a bigger transfer budget. 2) Cryne doesn't have to pay out as much. The only recent one is Rugby maybe being played at Oakwell. 250k the rumoured price for the 14 games played. Not even 20k per game and we'd have to deal with the pitch being knackered as we use football grass and not the kind of surface grounds like Huddersfield and Reading use so the pitch doesn't wear so much. Even Donny have substitutions sponsored or big advertising netting over empty seats.

Wonder if we could rope ASOS in? Probably the biggest firm around here, they're on the back of the McLaren F1 cars so they obviously see value in sponsorship and obviously what they'd have to pay us would be tiny compared to what it costs to have their logo on an F1 car.
Think we missed a trick when Oakwell Brewery was still in business! Could have got them to sponsor it and called it Oakwell Stadium!

The ASOS arena? Has a ring to it. Not that it matters. It would still be known as Oakwell to everyone, just like the CK Beckett stand will always be known as the Ponte End. Might as well make some money out of it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
