    to have to use the bus lane or can they choose, (as in a case when it suits them on the traffic lights)

    1 thing I do know is its compulsory for bus drivers to act like complete ******

    Aye they do. Along with taxi drivers and council drivers. All think they own the road.

    jsut my rant this AM, coming from Doncaster to Rotherham and the X78 had a lot of traffic behind them, bus lane next to him, wouldn't pull into it as the traffic lights ahead was on green, ****s....

    Amen to that. I had a run in with one this morning who thought it was ok to block the whole road waiting for his passenger rather than pull into the side of the road literally just two meters down the road where there was a gap. Selfish, ignorant, poor drivers in the extreme (not all of them but the majority in my experience).

    Pretty sure there is no law that says busses have to use a bus lane - but someone has got things wrong if its faster for the bus to ignore it than use it
