**** feeling like ****. It's been on the cards for years this relegation. Get rid of all the wasters who quite clearly don't want to be here and give Danny the chance to build HIS squad. Hope DRFC come down too, more derbies. Rochdale away first game anyone?!? Red ****ing army. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dannys transfer dealings cheap seats in the family stand hopefully more goals and wins maybe a trip to Wembley (cup or league) A few positives to look forward to.
Not quite ready yet but will be in good time. SeasonTicket already bought not feeling as gutted tonight as I expected more relieved that the inevitable has finally happened and I don't need to cling to faint hope anymore The fact is that we haven't been good enough this season and fully deserved to go down 39 points with a game to go says it all just hope the club get the close season right regarding player in comings and outgoings and who the Manager should be
I'm ready. Renewed yesterday with my lad. To be honest, I've been looking forward to next season since Blackburn away this season. Sent from my SM-T210 using Tapatalk
Deep down I've been expecting it for the majority of the season, but the occasional upturn in form every now and again has brought a false sense of optimism. Obviously, staying up would've been everybody's first choice, but I'm glad we went down today as opposed to going down next weekend at Oakwell. I'm hoping Wilson will choose a team of players he wants to keep next season, to play next week. Get some youngsters in too. If we can keep hold of the likes of Cranie, Jennings, O'Brien and O'Grady then there's no reason why we can't have a good go at it next season. In some strange way, it may do us good to rebuild and come back (hopefully sooner rather than later). New away grounds to visit and hopefully cheaper tickets.. I'll still be there!
Can't wait now I'm glad it's finally over... Let's hope we can start the season on a high to build some momentum, let's face it it's been coming for the last few years we need to capitalise on a good start and get some good feeling back into the club, onwards and upwards. C.O.Y.R.
We will struggle in League 1 with this team, I am reserving any optimism until we've played 10 games in League 1, then we'll see and on that basis I won't be renewing my season ticket. Doesn't make me a true fan? Call 118-I-could-give-a-f**k.
Renewed yesterday, be there no matter what. Just those that don't renew plainly and simply because of the relegation don't come back if we ever come back up, were better off without them.
nah, we need every fan we can get. i've also renewed, but i can't blame anyone for not doing. this season has been horrible. really horrible. and now we've been relegated. that's not really much of an incentive for people to spend their very hard earned money and come back.
The majority of fans of ALL clubs are not season ticket holders, failure to grasp this simple concept leaves me thinking we're better off without you.
I'm feeling disappointed and sad, but in a way I'm pleased that it's at least all over now. I'm definitely not ready for the next season just yet, I don't even want to think about football right now, but there's nothing that would make me abandon Barnsley FC. Come August, I'm sure that I'll be looking forward to the new season again, and I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll be alright. YOUUUREEEEDS!!!
Just renewed. Looking forward to a positive break and a positive, strong start to next season. Probably the many rum and cokes talking, but COYR!
I'm looking forward to a close season full of rumour, speculation, ins and outs. Silly though this may seem I'm quite excited about where we go from here.
Looking forward to the clear out, new grounds next season and today I met a true barnsley legend in David Currie, top bloke
will be interesting to see who we keep and new players what come in , obv would have been better had we stayed up and had a clear out . hopefully we will win more games and get the buzz back into club
