What are you doing/ have you done? I deliberately didn't listen to the game, but kept a track of the score. I came home, poured a beer, and cooked a meal. Now enjoying a glass of wine. Disappointed, but already seeing the positives for next season.
A shower may work Still sat here covered in mud and **** from the allotment. Cant be bothered. I need to do something I cant see the mrs will be pleased if I chalked **** on it and got in bed like this. Shower and then a few beers I think may do it. Just finding the motivation to start.
i didn't listen to the game either. i didn't need to. don't really need cheering up to be honest, cos i'm actually not that ar$ed. we deserve to get relegated, and i'd rather it happen today, than at home on the last day. this has been a truly $hit season. one of the worst i can remember, and i'm glad it's over with. i just put crawley into google maps.
Very similar to me actually. Watched updates on Soccer Saturday, followed by cracking open the latest homebrew and now on the wine, curry is gonna get fired up in the next hour. Not seeing many positives for next season though, League 1 is going to be tough.
Relegation party here in Hamburg. Barbecue, beer and wine. Could be another relegation party tomorrow, look at the German Bundesliga and see who's third bottom!
DVD and takeaway with the wife and kids. Probably go on PlayStation for a couple of hours after they go to bed. Maybe a cider or two. It's only football, not life and death - no matter what Shankly tried to say.
When I say positives, I mean, not losing at home every week, a few different away days, etc. Nothing exceptional.
I'm having to work. I've asked the other half to put my bottle of schnapps in the fridge, and I'll sit down with a book if I can focus after a couple of glasses! There's a nice dinner, I am told, and even though she doesn't care about football, she cares about BFC because she knows how much they mean to me. So I'll have a sympathetic ear, alcohol, and some decent food. It ain't all bad.
Got some really sad news today as well, an old friend of the family has died today at home in Wakefield, so its put all this fooball talk into some perspective.
I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, the championship has been very, very long and mainly miserable slog. Football can go on the back burner for a while now and I'm looking forward to a summer of sunshine and holidays
Another cheer up tactic if you're on Facebook - lookup 'Parking like a tw*t in barnsley', obviously replace the * with the correct letter like......
already looking forward to going to watch Fev away in challenge cup tomorrow, see if they can save my weekend
Re: I'm going to have a wa... booked a holiday at 5 pm to florida . summat to look forward to in may now
