I'm 51/49 in favour of Wilson. So at this present moment it's a yes. I see a change though if there's a takeover

Judas? Its 16 yearsago. Thats a bit pathetic really.
Its such ancient history there's kids leaving school next month who weren't born when that happened.

    Voted yes.

I didn't want him back particularly, and was never of the opinion he was likely to be able to keep us up. He hasn't - and he's not blameless, though can't be held all that culpable given what he inherited. A bit too defensive and bland for my liking maybe, but still, not his squad really, dodgy signings made in desperation aside.

But I see no point in giving anyone else the job. His record in the third tier is ok, and anyone who thinks we have a divine right to get out of that division might have a shock coming. We can do a lot worse, he's got the job, let him keep it.

To be fair, if that's true (which it is) then also as true would be to observe that a lot of the fans who wanted him and think of him a lot higher than me are basing that on achievement from just as long ago.

I'd keep him, see above. He's not a judas, never was. He left a club he'd done brilliantly for to manage a club in a higher division with bigger crowds and budget than we'd ever have, but crucially a club he played for with distinction and had an obvious affinity to. I never particularly thought he'd let anyone down. Look at how dennis ran the club in the years after - he'd have probably been sacked for not winning the league anyway but you can hardly blame him for leaving that lot who were 'running' things, especially when the Crown Jewels were being sold. Well, redders.

100% yes. For once we need to stick with a manager and who better than Danny is there in our reach? He has experience in league 1, time to build his own squad and I fully expect us to be pushing for a top 6 finish!

He will be here next season. I don't want him but if he manages to turn things round for the better then fair play to him.
Persist with the tactics and style adopted since his appointment then I give him while Christmas and the fans will be deserting the club in droves

Of course all this ditching managers has to stop we need a long term development plan from an experienced and capable manager. I would be looking at a 3 year period regardless of results with the emphasis on talent spotting and youth development. A revisit of the Hill project but with someone in charge who can realise that vision.

voted yes a season in div 1 can't hurt and it may bring some joy.
he was not my candidate straight away tbh but when he came on the radar for us and no other candidates of significance were forthcoming it was a no brainer really.
but so far i have been very dissapointed with team selection, tactics and man management but will give benefit to him as it wasn't his staff and he came in part season. will be looking for a change of fortune next season out of his tenure especially recruitment ,tactics etc and generally imnprovement in the playing side of things.
would hope we get straight back up but wouldn't judge his tenure if we didn't as long as we continually improve.

Yes. Stability is the way forward. It's been conclusive proven that swapping managers, with no money to back them, doesn't work. Time to try something different.

    Yes.
Then again, I'd have stuck with Hill.
