You have those opinions and they are as valid as anyone else's. However, you lost me at the point where you suggest that it is somehow Danny Wilson's fault that O'Grady missed a penalty.
I wouldn't judge him based on style of football over the past few months. His hands have been largely tied due to injuries & a poor squad. I don't believe you'll see that style of football under a squad that Wilson assembles himself.
I agree with most of that but we had a thread on here a week or so back & I think just about everyone agrees that they'd of signed everyone Wilson brought in (I would've too except Woods). Unfortunately January's not like the summer transfer window when there's lots of free transfer's available & you can take players on trial for weeks before signing. Danny had to gamble on loan signings & on paper they were nearly all good signings. Frimpong & Shea should've been quality at this level based on their past. I definitely agree about been down because of the home games against our rivals under Flitcroft / Mellon. Blew it against Yeovil, Wednesday, Charlton & Birmingham. Blew it against Leeds under Wilson too
Agree with that. Although I think it has been useful to see the results because I was starting to feel that it was more evenly split judging by the comments on this board. As it goes I am somewhat reassured that the no's are still very much a minority, they have just been very vocal recently.
yes it will be his own team next season, after he as got shut of all the ***** that he was left with, than judge him
That's why I made the poll. To see what the split actually was, the 'quiet' ones are most likely to voice their opinion through the anonymity of a poll.
What wouldl the reaction of supporters be if at Christmas we are at the lower end of League 1 and the product on the pitch was still as dull as dishwater? Its a hypothetical question but it would be interesting to apply the same poll and see if anyone's opinions had changed.
We could change manager and still be in that position, not sure if you have noticed but us keep changing manager's hasn't got us anywhere. Sent from my D5503 using Tapatalk
I thought Danny was our Manager next season so are you asking if he should be sacked? I'm looking forward to the transfer activity from Danny.
But that's not the situation we are currently in, if it is more than likely pressure will be on for Danny to replaced because we have **** all patience. I include myself with that last part too. Sent from my D5503 using Tapatalk
I agree with your point of changing managers hasn't got us anywhere but is Wilson the right man for the job? I sincerely hope that he is and At Christmas we will all have a better idea as to the answer.
Think back to this time last year we all wanted Flicker to stay universally look how that ended up, let's hope at Xmas we are thinking thank **** we didn't get shut. Sent from my D5503 using Tapatalk
He should get until Christmas, at least. If we're 23rd or something, review the situation. Do we need to tighten the defence up? Are we not scoring enough? Have we been knackered by injuries? In other words, are there clear reasons for such a bad start? If there are, persist with him, because I believe he'll get it right. If the problems are more intangible, then we might have to make a change. If we're treading water in 16th or similar, keep going. Next season is unlikely to be pretty, and we'll all need to be patient.
