Well said B_L. A very disrespectful comment by Huddersfield.

We are where we are and only we can do something about it by winning most games next season.

Only ourselves to blame for our relegation.

agree with barnsley loyal. we have no divine right to be in the champ. bigger clubs than us have gone down. we're down on merit, no doubt about it. i'm actually not that ar$ed about it tbh. will be nice to actually go into games thinking we may have a realistic chance of winning.

    It's true though mate

We have got to pick ourselves up and go again

This is why some fans next season might get a reality check

Some good teams in league 1

Going to be a interesting season and one I am actually looking forward to

Spot on Loyal. There'll still be Oakwell, still 11 numpties running out in red shirts, still us lot bairnin' on here about scoreboards, tickets, snap an' that. Life goes on - let's just get on with it while dem massive teams up above continue to knock one out over another debt-ridden mid-table finish.

Chesterfield, Rochdale? Good honest football clubs, as opposed to cheats like QPR, Leeds, Bolton, Forest, etc.

The sentiments in the original post just saddens me any Barnsley fan that says 'the likes of' now that's really depressing. Who the **** go they think we are Real Madrid?

Chesterfield and Rochdale every time over cheats like Leicester and Leeds and Bolton and all the rest.

Got to agree. I'm looking forwards to next season now, there is something strangely appealing in games against teams like Chesterfield, Oldham and the blunts. I'm looking forwards to it but i still hope its not an extended stay in the pub league.

This phrase "the likes of....." usually has Barnsley in it when other fans and pundits mention it. It does my head in, because it's totally disrespectful. The last thing we should be doing is disrespecting others by using it ourselves, we are where we deserve to be because of our on the field performances.

Leave the delusion to the others.

When football fans say "no disrespect to .......... "

Always followed by a disrespectful comment, on the lines of .... "we should be beating ........ "

I hadn't thought of that. I wonder which team will replace us in the "the likes of Barnsley" when players and managers from the relegated clubs from the Premiership are bleating about being in the Championship? Donny if they stay up I presume. I'd love one of them to say Leeds or Wednesday. In fact, I might write to the managers of Cardiff, Fulham and Norwich and pledge a donation to the charity of their choice if they bemoan having to play "the likes of Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday" in their post relegation interviews!
