Been down to Oakwell to renew season ticket - reight fan I am, wait till we are relegated to renew!
Actually, in a strange way, I'm probably looking forward to the season more than had we clawed our way to safety again! Might be misplaced but just think there's more chance of having a decent season and seeing more wins than losses at Oakwell.
When it comes down to it - I get to see 23 game at Oakwell, no matter who the opposition are.

Was surprised though that the queue was to the door when I got there at 11am and stretching into the shop by the time I left.

Going to sort mine on Wednesday but what have people actually been given when going in to the box office for these - is it books or are we having cards now?

Reight fans wait until price goes up so they can give the club more money. Or don't get a season ticket at all but go to every game and pay on the gate in order to spend even more money.

A match day ticket telling that you've paid books will be ready in mid July

Think we're having access cards this time rather than books.

That's what I overheard someone else in queue saying.

Also, on the form there's a box to tick if you want cup tickets added automatically - the wording of added points to the card as it didn't say anything about additional amount for them posting etc

That's me, that is. Apart from the 'every game' bit. I'll miss two or three depending on work. But still, I'm the bestist.

You ought to be able to get a card for nothing that allows you to buy 'tickets' that are just applied to the card, be especially handy for folk who live outside the town. Although I'm not sure how they'd assign a seat with this method.

    That's a great idea.

I'm certain they're going onto a print at home ticket, who knows they may even go to ticketless system that most places use now that sends a QR code to your phone for the turnstile operator to scan. But then again that's far too forward thinking.

It must be undecided, or a change in the pipeline, as you can't actually pick them up while the middle of July.

Hope they manage to turn the automated turnstiles on. Not looking good if T.V's in East Stand and (lack of) new scoreboard is owt to go by.
