jason (Mansford) does talk a good game but it is beginning to become a bit tedious really. he talks a good game yes......... but proof of the pudding etc.........and we have just been relegated.

If we don't improve in the run up to crimbo...he might as well go as well

The more I listen to Ben speak my respect for the guy keeps on increasing. I was just as gutted about the result and the inevitable outcome at the weekend, but I am feeling more and more confident about next season. I fly out for a 4 month tour overseas soon and I will be scouring the BBS pages on a regular basis for updates on info on the team building for next season. I have renewed optimism and I am sure we will be stronger and definately more competitive next season.

Damned if he talks to the fans, damned if he doesn't. Ben can't win. We'll see over the Summer months how things are being done differently, if at all.

I'm certainly more confident about next season than I was the last time we were relegated to the third tier twelve years ago.

Re: Speaks a lot but manages to say very little

I can't really see how anybody could listen to BM speak and not feel that he's a good man to have at our club. He spoke well and honestly, although maybe not quite as open as Whitey has been recently! But I didn't disagree with anything he said there and I'm actually looking forward to the new season.

Digby has been injured. I'm fed up of posting it...

But injured none the less. Difficult enough for kids to make their mark on the 1st team wiart chucking him in while he isn't fully fit.

I also think because of his size he will need minutes on the pitch because of his size.

He's been injured for the vast majority of the time Danny has been manager. When fit, he was in the squad, featuring. It was under Flicker that he was fully fit for months but not getting a kick.

He's only had it for a few weeks. HE put out that he was having a op on the 31 march.

When I say i've seen him far too much on a monday is he's been playing for the u21's on the monday.

You go to watch the u21s? I never knew, you've not mentioned it. Unfortunately I work and live 50 miles away so can't make such important events.

Ok then, Phil. Danny must not rate him.

No wonder you can't stand him. He's ignoring Digby, hasn't played Frimpong, in fact when he has done, he's played them in bad positions on purpose to make them look bad. He's not played your favoured one up front system. He's played Steele every week, and had Bobby on the bench.

I can see why you dislike him now.

I've been to a couple of the kiddy games. They are that kids v kids, very few grizzly old pros in them helping with the learning curve.

    Barnsley didn't win any. . .

Don't forget that nasty Danny has played the wrong player next to Frimpong when he has played him. I'm coming round to thinking DW is a reyt bstard.

They all need time, without silly threats of being booted out.
