Watching the goals on Goals on Sunday. A little late but I had to tape it. Kennedy was left for dead by Tomlin twice for their goals. He is too weak all round and a good winger leaves him for dead. I bet Wilson keeps him on. Whilst on Wilson, I am going along with him being manager, but he is not blameless in all this mess. Hope he gets some football in his tactics next year, because it will be a Mega year for Barnsley. If we do not come straight back up then we will fade into the abyss
I don't think Wilson will have any choice to keep him on. It's rumoured he's on very decent money for a player of his ability & it's unlikely anyone will want to take him off our hands & match his wages without us paying up some of his contract
The average wage in the Championship is 4k a week I would imagine very few of our players are on that.Kennedy I believe was a free agent so I doubt he could have commanded that kind of wage.Like Mansford said the club had been run very prudently by D.Rowing and by doing so we should be quite competitive in the transfer market.
If it means never seeing him laik again, we need to pay the fcuker off, be worth every penny IMO! Why dunt we all chip in to help get rid of the useless floppy haired lovely person?!
It was mates rates for Kennedy, cheers flicker. He's one of the top earners, that championship average won't be far off. Unbelievable I know given his ability.
Depends if its the manager of your choice or not. Blame or not his fault. Opposing arguments get offered up with every change of manager, its been hard to keep up in recent years.
I'm not out to blame anyone,I thought the idea was the manager identified the player and the C.E thrashed out the terms.
So what if the CE blows the whole wage bill on one player simply becasue the manager identified him as a target? I doubt the lines are so clearly drawn.
Kennedy was released by Leicester, they must have known his capabilities. He was then on a week to week contract. I cannot see him being on that big a wage. Perhaps that's why he will be kept?
