    Why is it so important to you to try and belittle, run down and generally be disrespectful to one of the players of the Club you claim to support ? A player who has been a consistent performer and a fantastic role model for Barnsley ?

    Your argument has been shot to pieces by numerous contributors.
    We are talking about a player in the running for our poty.
    Consistenly one of our better players over the last six years or so.
    Yet you see fit to try and compare him to a retired goalkeeper and a Stoke City player.
    Take off you blinkers and just occasionally try and be a bit more respectful and thoughtful.

    Before you have a wetty why dont you also factor in the goals conceded by Super Jack while he was at Leeds - do theor average over every game played? Like I said to you before, and you ignored, Butland is no closer to the England team than Steele at this point in time.

    Take note Phil. Steele has been a loyal and consistent player for a few years now and could win the player of the year award, again. You might not like him but can't you show him a little support and respect.

    Why the need to keep trying to argue the same point? It's opinion, it's subjective. You don't like Steele, ok we get it, but why argue over what someone else's opinion on the POTY is?

    It wasn't that long ago that we was bloody loving Luke Steele. Seriously, go back a few months in the archives and he was using Luke to try and win arguments the same way he is using Butland now.
