    Remember watching him when I was at school in "on the move" in the late 70's/early 80's. Always liked the guy, whatever he did.
    The bit where he is sat in the back of the car at the end of the Long Good Friday is brilliant, very chilling.

    Been in some great films such as Mona Lisa Zulu Dawn and also remembu him on a bbc serjes called The Street in one of his last roles.

    Not read the link but wasnt he affected with Parkinsons disease?

    Yes, mate, he was. It's an illness that took the life of a friend and former work colleague of mine last Summer, at the age of 64.

    My mum has it. Really got hold of her since she was diagnosed less than 3 years ago.
