Can't believe some of comments re: next season

If you genuinely believe we will be mid table or that would be a good season, then you may as well stay at home.

Where's the belief? Where's the confidence?

We need a radical overhaul in the attitude of our support starting now!!!!

I'm not pointing out what Whitey already has about out status historically as a club. We will be feared next season, Oakwell will be feared.

We need to take back what's ours!!! We need hostile home crowd, ferocious support, 100% commitment and an all together now spirit

Together, me you your dad your son your gran your kids can roar the reds back and dismantle league 1 piece by piece.

As I've said before on here our support this season, considering,has been amazing, each and everyone of you contributed to that. Fantastic fans for a fantastic club and town

We are not Wednesday or Blunts in that we think we are better than we are.

I will take quiet optimism over outlandish arrogance any day.

 

I agree with you but that attitude is the exact opposite of the bloke you think so highly of.

 

We're not, no, you're right. We're Barnsley FC, the stalwart of the second tier. History shows that we're a second tier club, therefore it's not thinking we're better than we are by saying you expect us to challenge for promotion back to that division. It's being honest, with a tinge of optimism and expectation. You can call it arrogance. But outlandish? No way.

Wednesday think they're top ten Premier League, regular trophy hunters etc with 40,000 fans. Leeds think they're second only to Man Utd and European kings. That is ******* outlandish arrogance.

No idea why you referred to the Blunts. They're not arrogant. They have no reason to be. The last decade has seen to any misguided arrogance they may have had. They saw beating Fulham as a giantkilling. How the not so mighty have fallen.


We're one of the clubs who'll be favourites to go up next season. If others want to be pessimists, fear the worst, basically keep up this daft notion that we've had rammed down our throats for years that we're punching above our weight and in reality we're a lower league club, then fine. That's your choice. But I'm going down the arrogant and expectant route from now on. We're Barnsley. We're coming for you. All aboard the promotion bus. Smashing up divisions since 2014.
