    8000 thousands? Wow!!!


    Sorry, that's just one of my pet hates; when people put the full number, and then write the k. It's supposed to make it shorter and quicker to write, not longer, the 8000 would have stood alone.

    Never understood the K thing, I always find it's a term certain people use when they want to show off about their salary and tell you how much they get paid (unfortunately I know quite a few of these pr*cks)

    No idea how to use a semi-colon; which brings me on to something else I've been wondering, what was the @ symbol used for before email?

    ;) Reading it back, I see what you mean about the semi-colon, but I had the 'sorry, that's one of my pet hates' as a stand alone sentence (albeit a not very good one), so I think it stands. I'm going to regret not spotting this, but where is the apostrophe misuse?

    Only pulling your leg. My daughter is a teacher and I love to pull her up over misused apostrophes. I think I may have caught her out once but boy did I milk it.
