On twitter. COG back to Wednesday. Jennings to Leeds or Bolton. Three clubs in HUGE debt. See my signature...
Lets keep this thread alive during the Summer Peter Clarke from Huddersfield Luke Ayling from Yeovil Lee Williamson from Blackburn Lee Gregory from Halifax Andre Gray from Luton Are my rumours from the voices in my head.
Surley we will be able to get sum decent money for jennings he still has three years left on contract and only young and didnt think leeds were in debt according to there fans there rich now there saviour has bought em out lol
We took a massive gamble on Jennings at £250,000 so now he has actually shown that he is capable (if a little inconsistent) then we have to be asking for approaching a million given his age and length of time on his contract. Unless we get an offer we can't refuse I say we keep him, League One could be good for his development and obviously good for us as well. O'Grady would probably score 20+ goals in the right Championship team so again, you've got to be talking close to a million, another I'd like to keep given how good he has proven himself in League One but it sounds like he wants to leave. Wednesday will probably only be prepared to pay what we paid for him (although I can't see them wanting him back), there will be five or six clubs interested though I reckon.
I reakon for o grady maybee huddersfield depending on manager or donny if they stay up could be interested or maybee if rotherham get promoted you never know
What I think they're worth: COG - £750,000 - 1 million Jennings - £1.2 million Cranie - £1.5 - 2 million Steele £750,000 - 1 million
haha I like your optimism mate but not including john stones who was the last player we got 1million plus for? Were barnsley we sell our best players for peanuts and no club would pay them prices for a bunch of players who have just been relegated from championship
COG - 300k. Jennings - we won't sell him for owt less than a million, Shirley? Cranie - 250k. Steele - 500k. Kennedy - £40,000,000.
We won't get anywhere near the amounts you stated. And to be honest none of them are worth that much anyway!
On his day, Martin Cranie can be one of the best centre halves in the Championship. His reading of the game and his all round footballing ability make him the best player at Barnsley FC, and he's worth, at least £1million and closer to £2m.
