I'm making my feelings obvious. I only usually miss games for weddings/ funerals/ births or if incapacitated in some other way. Tomorrow I choose to spend time with the family doing something less depressing.

Don't slag Mellis off - that poor soul only earns £6k a week - its been hard for him

Mellis, Dawson, Kennedy, Ping Pong, Woods etc etc etc and a few more should be made to sit in the stands and watch it and play the youth instead

Any of those come near where I sit and they will get a right b*llocking, spinless w*ankers can't wait for them to f*ck off out of my club

I'm in your club Tom. Voting with my feet. I'd rather spend twenty odd quid taking the Mrs out for a meal, pick up some hubby-points for all the moaning I have done about the reds all season!

Re: We need to make the team well aware of what we have thought of them this season..

I'm going and won't be booing. I haven't been impressed with Mellis' efforts this season, he's better than what he showed in some games, and McCourt didn't apply himself the same under Wilson as he did when Flitcroft was in charge. Although, he didn't get much of a chance, but he didn't get much of a chance because he didn't apply himself. The rest? It was a lack of talent that was the problem not a lack of effort. I'm not going to boo people for not being quite good enough.

Not that I'll be cheering them to the rafters, but they're my team and I don't hate them because we were relegated. Three teams are relegated from this division every year. This season one of 'em was us because we were one of the three worst teams.

I wont be booing either. With the possible exceptions of Mellis and McCourt who are good enough but didnt seem to put the effort in that the grafters did none of the players can be accused of not trying.
Collectively they weren't good enough that's really the problem cant see what good booing will do

I share your views, I'd argue Frimpong & Cwyka haven't given there all either but it's impossible to prove

I don't even consider Frimpong one of our players. I very much doubt he'll be there to boo or not. If he is I'll definitely not be applauding him.

I'd argue the toss about Cywka. He's not a work horse, obviously, but I thought he gave it as much as he's ever done. That's neither here nor there though really.

I'd quite happily boo the likes of Mellis and Frimpong but I don't want to boo others such as Steele, Dawson, etc so unless they come out in two groups I'm not sure what to do.

    Laughing at that.

"Right, first out, the wastes of space, Come on Frimpong, Mellis, get thissens art theer and get the booing you deserve. There's some stocks in front of The Ponty we'll be strapping you to. Think yourself lucky it's not the gallows."

"Steeley, Bobby, O'Grady, come on lads, your turn, the fans want to applaud you."

    We should definitely do that.

Problem is, we all go expecting to be entertained by our team who show commitment. This season we have had neither, in abundance, and that is why there will be potential for the boo boys.

Re: We need to make the team well aware of what we have thought of them this season..

Hey howabout that for an idea - though we probably need 3 groups
Group 1 - Steele Jennings Cranie MVoto anyone else? - we can all give a good cheer and clap to
Group 2 McCourt Mellis Frimpong Shea anyone else? (if we can get him back) etc for a good boo
and the rest we can give polite applause

We do need a special one person group though for Sir Bobby - Id give him a standing ovation for his service over the last 10 years which I think is sadly ending

Have them come out 1 at a time and introduce them onto the pitch, then they will see what we think about them as individuals.

Tbh we can do that on team announcement as their names are called.
But I personally won't be booing anyone, my prerogative I expect but would rather let those players that have let us down see what Barnsley fans are like in our full voice for the club and what they are gonna miss when they hopefully move on.
