Barnsley Player

Has anyone managed to work out or find out why/where the full game replays have disappeared from the Barnsley Player?

I'm afraid I'll be cancelling if they won't be doing them next season.

 

If you haven't seen the games, don't worry. Spare yourself a lot of misery.

 

They stopped uploading them because the matches were often sh*t, boring and effortless.

 

I'd noticed this recently too. The fact the results may not be good is immaterial. All matches and extended highlights should be uploaded. Also noticed the number of player interviews diminishing and additional content has dried up.

Pity, there was a noted improvement at the start of the season.

But now apathy reins all round.

 

Aren't they obliged to upload them? I'm sure it is one of the things listed when we sign up, so we have a right to expect them.

 

Agreed. I thought it was. Does anyone have any dealings with the company who do the Player? Can we get an answer on this?

Hi, I've just remembered my login details.

I think most of the missing FMR's will eventually be uploaded, the main reason they haven't been so far is unfortunately due to time constraints.

Other small technical issues such as the commentaries not being recorded properly etc have also been a factor.

I don't think there's a contractual obligation to show in-house edited replays, but I know for certain the club work hard on these and would like a full archive available on B.Player where possible, so please bear with them and I'm sure the service will be updated in the coming weeks.

Thanks for that Matt but watching a match replay is something to enjoy a day or two after the event, not months. I've been a subscriber for years but will almost certainly cancel if this isn't put back as it was

 

Thanks for the explanation. They are one of the main reasons I subscribe, I always enjoy watching the match a couple of days later (when the pain has subsided a little).
