So it really does not matter where he came from or went after Barnsley! Just that while he was a BFC player he did a good job, at little cost !
No the point of the whole boom was to say however you lose your way you. An still achieve success and earn that success however briefly. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I could say the same about Fergie ! Plenty of flops at Man Utd during his time there and he paid a heck of a lot of money for them, not pennies !! All managers can buy some lemons, it goes with the job. During his time at Barnsley previously , Wilson had far far more good buys than bad. I am not expecting anything like his previous record again, but I want to at least see if he can sort out the shower of ***** we have at the moment.
I've seen some reasons given as to why he is a **** manager, mainly from West Yorkshire, but signings he made 17 years ago is the best yet.
I think juan Sebastian Veron springs to mind. Of course Danny has signed sone crap. Don't think Lars was one of them though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Veron was wanted by just about every top club in Europe, it just never worked for him in England at United or Chelsea...He's a Legend in Italy and Argentina. As for the book after reading this thread I bought a copy...a very interesting read....If Hendrie had not been made manager(he was totally out of his depth)Leese may have played many more seasons...He should have played all that season,Bullock wasn't anywhere near as good.
