Rename it thereev's, let thereev run it and I will let anyone in who wants to socialise and spend their money. Any trouble and they will be chucked out. Plenty of choice of food and drink and make people feel welcome so they will want to come back. It simply is not rocket science ..... Sort it please Jason. Hth cos it should.
Sounds like a winner to me reevy, you could have a weekly appearance by a BBS member as your guest barman. The crowds would be flocking in.
Went in MK Don's bar last season. TVs with sky sports news/live footy, draft beer poured into plastic glasses, bottled beer if you preferred, home fans, away fans, and about 2 75 a pint. Place was rammed.
I am serious, it could be done easily, security on in case of trouble but can't see a problem. Come on Jason, lets see what ure made of? Thereev catering will do the rest! Hth
If you read the football ground guide website, it's amazing how many clubs have a supporter's bar at the ground for both home and away fans. We're light years behind.
Yes we are light years behind. The bar in it's current format with it's current rules is like some late 80s throwback. It would be good to throw the bar open to all next year and throw out to be the supporters for suggestions on how to improve a pretty miserable space. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
not really a proper bar , just selling cans last time i went in . capacity probably around 200 so it is a limited space . agree we should have a bigger better bar
I have to say the bar at Spotland was excellent. One of the best I've seen. Something like that would be ideal. Sky sports, acorn on tap, pie 'n' peas. Wow. I'm a genius.
Most people know how it could be improved to make a running profit.....apart from the clowns running it!! Dear o dear Hth
Thought MK Dons bar was pretty good, actually felt like a bar as well, not just a random room designated as one. They didn't seem to mind if home or away fans went in, might not always be a good idea but saying that I've been in the one at Leeds a few times and there's never been any problems and it's more revenue I suppose. Suppose the only trouble with pubs that only open on certain days is the beer can be pretty awful - if you've ever had a draught pint in Stereo, which is really only open two nights a week generally, you'll know what I mean.
Wouldn't it just be Paddy's goal against Middlesboring and Tommy's against Derby. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
